In January of 2018, BuilderUp was formed by the merger of Dunkirk Supply and The Concrete Store (the construction retail division of Chaney Enterprises). Chaney Enterprises acquired the 40-year-old Dunkirk Supply in 2016, which operated multiple locations in Southern Maryland including a truss plant manufacturing facility. After operating The Concrete Store for 26 years in Waldorf, MD, Chaney Enterprises sought to better serve their customers by merging the two retail ventures to form one source that can provide materials for any project: BuilderUp.
BuilderUp now operates from three locations in southern Maryland: the BuilderUp Home Store on Skinners Turn Road in Owings, the BuilderUp Waldorf Store on Acton Lane in Waldorf, and the BuilderUp Truss & Steel Plant in Owings off of East Chesapeake Beach Road.
Coming soon to the Annapolis area, we will have a hardscape showroom available to view the wide range of outdoor living product offerings! The Annapolis showroom will be a sales office open by appointment only. We will have decking, windows, doors and other products on display.
